A chronic skin affection terminating in an ulcer, most
commonly of the face. It is endemic along the Mediterranean,
and is probably due to a specific bacillus. Called also
{Aleppo ulcer}, {Biskara boil}, {Delhi boil}, {Oriental
sore}, etc.
