   1. Full of, attended with, or involving, peril; dangerous;
      hazardous; as, a perilous undertaking.

            Infamous hills, and sandy, perilous wilds. --Milton.

   2. Daring; reckless; dangerous. [Obs.] --Latimer.

            For I am perilous with knife in hand. --Chaucer.
