Pleximeter \Plex*im"e*ter\, n. [Gr. ? stroke, percussion (from ?
   to strike) + -meter.] (Med.)
   A small, hard, elastic plate, as of ivory, bone, or rubber,
   placed in contact with body to receive the blow, in
   examination by mediate percussion. [Written also
   {plexometer}.]
