Pulmonary \Pul"mo*na*ry\, a. [L. pulmonarius, from pulmo, -onis,
a lung; of uncertain origin, perh. named from its lightness,
and akin to E. float: cf. F. pulmonaire. Cf. {Pneumonia}.]
Of or pertaining to the lungs; affecting the lungs; pulmonic.
