   {Refrigerating}.] [L. refrigeratus, p. p. of refrigerare;
   pref. re- re- + frigerare to make cool, fr. frigus, frigoris,
   coolness. See {Frigid}.]
   To cause to become cool; to make or keep cold or cool.
