Scoundrel \Scoun"drel\, n. [Probably from Prov. E. & Scotch
   scunner, scouner, to loathe, to disgust, akin to AS. scunian
   to shun. See {Shun}.]
   A mean, worthless fellow; a rascal; a villain; a man without
   honor or virtue.
