Verbosity \Ver*bos"i*ty\, n.; pl. {Verbosities}. [L. verbositas:
   cf. F. verbosit['e].]
   The quality or state of being verbose; the use of more words
   than are necessary; prolixity; wordiness; verbiage.

         The worst fault, by far, is the extreme diffuseness and
