   fr. voluptas pleasure, volup agreeably, delightfully;
   probably akin to Gr. ? to hope, ? hope, and to L. velle to

   1. Full of delight or pleasure, especially that of the
      senses; ministering to sensuous or sensual gratification;
      exciting sensual desires; luxurious; sensual.
