   1. About where; near what or which place; -- used
      interrogatively and relatively; as, whereabouts did you
      meet him?

   Note: In this sense, whereabouts is the common form.

   2. Concerning which; about which. ``The object whereabout
      they are conversant.'' --Hooker.
