         (IBM) Conforming to a wrong or inappropriate
        specification; useful, but misdesigned.  Frequently used as a
        sardonic comment on a program's utility or as a bogus reason
        for not accepting a criticism or suggestion.  At {IBM}, this
        sense is used in official documents!
