       whitish stripes, the timber of a tropical American tree
       ({Connarus Guianensis}).
   (b) The wood of a small West Indian myrtaceous tree ({Eugenia
       fragrans}).
   (c) The wood of an East Indian tree of the genus {Guettarda}.
