Biophotophone \Bi`o*pho"to*phone\, n. [Gr. bi`os life + photo +
   fwnh` sound, voice.]
   An instrument combining a cinematograph and a phonograph so
   that the moving figures on the screen are accompanied by the
   appropriate sounds.
