Blancher \Blanch"er\, n.
   One who, or that which, blanches or whitens; esp., one who
   anneals and cleanses money; also, a chemical preparation for
   this purpose.

Blancher \Blanch"er\, n.
   One who, or that which, frightens away or turns aside. [Obs.]
