Bloodless \Blood"less\, a. [AS. bl?dle['a]s.]
   1. Destitute of blood, or apparently so; as, bloodless
      cheeks; lifeless; dead.

            The bloodless carcass of my Hector sold. --Dryden.

   2. Not attended with shedding of blood, or slaughter; as, a
      bloodless victory. --Froude.

   3. Without spirit or activity.

            Thou bloodless remnant of that royal blood ! --Shak.
