Intellective \In`tel*lec"tive\, a. [Cf. F. intellectif.]
   1. Pertaining to, or produced by, the intellect or
      understanding; intellectual.

   2. Having power to understand, know, or comprehend;
      intelligent; rational. --Glanvill.

   3. Capable of being perceived by the understanding only, not
      by the senses.

            Intellective abstractions of logic and metaphysics.
