Short-circuit \Short"-cir`cuit\, v. t. [imp. & p. p.
   {Short-circuited}; p. pr. & vb. n. {Short-circuiting}.]
   (Elec.)
   To join, as the electrodes of a battery or dynamo or any two
   points of a circuit, by a conductor of low resistance.
