Pantograph \Pan"to*graph\, n. [Panto- + -graph: cf. F.
   pantographe.]
   An instrument for copying plans, maps, and other drawings, on
   the same, or on a reduced or an enlarged, scale. [Written
   also {pantagraph}, and incorrectly {pentagraph}.]
