Speckle \Spec"kle\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. {Speckled}; p. pr. & vb.
   n. {Speckling}.]
   To mark with small spots of a different color from that of
   the rest of the surface; to variegate with spots of a
   different color from the ground or surface.
