Consilience

Consilience \Con*sil"i*ence\, n. [con- + salire to leap.]
   Act of concurring; coincidence; concurrence.

         The consilience of inductions takes place when one
         class of facts coincides with an induction obtained
         from another different class.            --Whewell.
