Fiery \Fi"er*y\ (? or ?), a. [Formerly written firy, fr. fire.]
   1. Consisting of, containing, or resembling, fire; as, the
      fiery gulf of Etna; a fiery appearance.

   2. Vehement; ardent; very active; impetuous.
