   fr. ossifragus bone breaking; os, ossis, a bone + frangere,
   fractum, to break. See {Osseous}, {Break}, and cf. {Osprey},
   {Ossifragous}.] (Zo["o]l.)
   (a) The lammergeir.
   (b) The young of the sea eagle or bald eagle. [Obs.]
