Pistacia \Pis*ta"ci*a\, n. [NL. See {Pistachio}.] (Bot.)
   The name of a genus of trees, including the tree which bears
   the pistachio, the Mediterranean mastic tree ({Pistacia
   Lentiscus}), and the species ({P. Terebinthus}) which yields
   Chian or Cyprus turpentine.
