Recipiangle

Recipiangle \Re*cip"i*an`gle\, n. [L. recipere to take + angulus
   angle.]
   An instrument with two arms that are pivoted together at one
   end, and a graduated arc, -- used by military engineers for
   measuring and laying off angles of fortifications.
