Vivificate

Vivificate \Vi*vif"i*cate\, v. t. [L. vivificatus, p. p.
   vivificare. See {Vivify}.]
   1. To give life to; to animate; to revive; to vivify. [R.]

   2. (Chem.) To bring back a metal to the metallic form, as
      from an oxide or solution; to reduce. [Obs.]
